Ludyas

“The calm waters of the Ludyas River are disturbed by an unexpected visitor. Young Minas, captivated by the local legend, becomes obsessed with tracking down the mysterious creature that spreads fear and terror in the small riverside tavern.”

Ludyas is the most recent short film by Akis Polyzos, scheduled to premiere at the 48th Drama International Short Film Festival in September 2025. Featuring around 40 vfx shots, the project marks my first exploration of integrating AI tools into production workflows, laying the foundation for future creative experimentation. By utilizing ComfyUI with Wan 2.1/2.2 models, I was able to accomplish complex prep work and creatively manipulate footage through the first-and-last frame technique.
